Great new blog post from a mom of one of our guitar students:
"Wonderful place!!! My child has received the most wonderful private lessons with Matt for many years now. My child is quite a challenge, highly stubborn and rigid in a learning environment; My child loves Matt and would probably have given up on piano years ago if Matt hadn't nurtured him with such patience and understanding. My child tried a few sports and disliked them all with the exception of martial arts for three years-even then, my child begged to quit. We never wanted to give up on encouraging extra curricular activities and joys in our child-and decided to try piano here. The concerts with all the students twice a year are always held in beautiful nearby places and well organized. The students of all the teachers here are lovely and it's encouraging to see how they grow as musicians from concert to concert. I also referred a friend's child to Tonal Art Music about 3 years ago--and they love it as much as we do."
"Personalized music lessons taught by caring professional musicians! Hyeseon and Matt are both highly knowledgeable and patient teachers, offering lessons on several different instruments. I was an adult beginner on piano and have been taking lessons with Hyeseon for about three years. She provides great feedback and has a great understanding of all types of music (she is a composer). She goes way beyond just teaching how to play songs - she will explain and demonstrate musical concepts so that one has a better overall understanding of the music. She does also does well communicating her lifelong experience as a piano student, offering helpful ideas on how to practice to improve one's playing most efficiently. Highly recommended."
"My daughter has enjoyed has learned a lot, laughed a lot and grown as a musician. The school is affordable, conveniently located and has been an overall great experience for our family."
"We have been going to Tonal Art for more than four years. Teachers are very experienced, patient and friendly. Recommended!"
